I’ll spare you the usual obligatory ‘covid is over/we made it!’ lines. You were there. You know. And though I won’t get into a sappy speech with you all, I will say that I am truly grateful to you and your families for helping our staff and our families get through all of this by supporting Fisherman’s Market and by extension our commercial fishing operations and those that bring in the catches. As a side note, we are ramping up those operations this year having added two boats to our fleet which are capable of catching all things salmon, lingcod, tuna and of course spot prawns.
On April 30th, all Fisherman’s Markets throughout BC will be throwing an appreciation party!
In an attempt to give back to you fine folks, I have personally asked my good people at all our Markets to create an event that shows mine and Geoff’s gratitude. On April 30th, all Fisherman’s Markets throughout BC will be throwing an appreciation party and we’d love to see you. As is our style, it will be a casual, kid-friendly and fun event. I’ve asked the stores to offer up free tasty seafood treats and have as many featured sale items as possible. Please take advantage of this.
I will be shoving off on that day to head north for my spot prawn season so I will miss you. That said, I hope to talk to the Crew in the Markets at a later date and hear that it was a good time had by all. So, please come down to your local Market on Saturday, April 30th and say hi to the Crew there.
